Inner Smile
A warm presence in yourself that softens the face, shoulders, and breath.
The inner smile is a form of kind presence. It does not deny difficulties; it adds warmth to them. With this smile, a person becomes a reliable adult to themselves.
Short
- «I smile inside — quietly, for myself.»
- «I allow my face and shoulders to soften.»
- «I treat myself with warm respect.»
- «I carry inner warmth and share it generously.»
- «The inner smile is my "yes" to life.»
One minute
I close or softly lower my eyes and smile a little within. I relax my forehead, brows, jaw, shoulders. I imagine a warm, soft light appearing in my chest. I direct this light to my body, my thoughts, my inner child. I look at myself the way a kind, calm adult would look at me. I can be imperfect and worthy of love at the same time. I allow this smile to stay with me during the next tasks. Today I choose the inner smile as a way of being present in life.
